My kids and I recently moved into an apartment with an unfinished basement. As their big Christmas present, I pimped out the basement to make it a space where they could get away from me (and each other) and/or hang out with their friends. I was limited in that I was unable to paint or make any permanent changes. I bought Items that will also work in our future house as well as futons they can eventually take to college.
